After almost six years of looking for something I thought I’d never see, an unexpected flock of swans appeared in the lagoon one early summer morning…

I have been driven by my search for the giant white swan to use the attention of my mind and the intentional methods of pointing cameras as a means of re-creating an object that might otherwise be absent. My realization in this project is that there is a way of seeing and looking that can create the presence of something which is long gone. I’m calling my process Speculative Ontology. More.
